Southern Oregon Outlaw Challenge

All new stage race format for 2020

Since 1995, the Southern Oregon Outlaw Cyclocross series has been the banner event of the Southern Oregon cyclocross racing schedule. Due to COVID-19, we are adapting this year and bringing you a new stage race format that gives you the opportunity to put up your fastest time on some of the best riding that Southern Oregon has to offer.

How does it work?

  • Sign up for some or all of the courses in the series.
  • Ride each course any time during its allotted week.
  • Record your ride using Strava or a GPS device.

Featuring a total of six courses, each stage will last seven days to allow for social distancing. Ride any or all of the courses at your convenience and record your time using a GPS device. To allow for times to be collated, winners will be announced one week after each stage’s completion. Rides completed on Strava will be automatically collected using segment results; rides recorded elsewhere can be submitted via email or Facebook Messenger. Multiple rides per course are allowed; your fastest time will be used.

Registration is $12.50 per race or $60.00 for the six-stage series. All ages and abilities are welcomed. Juniors 18 & under race free. 100% of all proceeds go directly to Josephine County Search and Rescue.
